Change
Change is a scary thing personally and professionally. Change means uncertainty, putting yourself out of a limb, and taking risks. Change in any industry or life is necessary to keep moving forward. Everyday and every second for that matter change is happening around us. We have to takes the steps necessary professionally to stay on top of our game.
Change and I have mixed feelings. I hate change for the most part. I like comfortable settings and I also like routines.... but on the other hand I like challenges and in a weird way, I like the nervous butterflies I can get from uncharted waters.
I am not really sure why this is on my mind today but I wanted to share. My oldest son, Roman, started t-ball this past week and he was SO nervous. We almost couldn't get him to go. Why? Because it is out of his routine, it is something new.... it is change.
Let me just say he loves it now! He asks to go to practice everyday to see his friends and he wants to wear his cleats all the time. He is only four... and I think this picture below sums it up for them at this age.
This post is to remind me to embrace change, to embrace new adventures, and follow your heart. Although I am taking some new steps that will cause change in my life... my outcome could be like my sons... not wanting to ever look back.
